TRAFFIC IN DRUGS
REPORT FOR LEAGUE
COUNCIL
(League Official Wireless.) (Received July 4, 1 p.m.)
GENEVA, July 3
The advisory committee on traffic in opium and other dangerous drugs adopted a report to the League Council giving the results of its work.
Probably the most important result is a new step forward in the preparation of a conference for the limitation and control of opium poppy cultivation and raw opium production.
The Committee adopted a resolution J again drawing the attention of the Council to the serious nature of the drug situation in the Far East, and asking that the Governments interested be requested to take very energetic steps to remedy it.
