LONDON, July 2.
The annual King's Cup air race round England was won by A. Henshaw, flying a Mew Gull, with a handicap of llmin 4sec, and conceding 2hr 38min lsec to the limit man. He averaged 236-| miles an] hour, the fastest time yet established! in the race, for which there is a special prize of £300 in addition to the first prize of £800. Giles Guthrie, also in a Mew Gull, with a handicap of 18min, was second. Flying-Officer Clouston, accompanied by his wife, in a B.A. Eagle, with a handicap of 2hr 46£min, retired at the tenth lap owing to a stoppage in the petrol tank. There were 14 competitors, and the conditions were perfect.
