In the Yankee fourball competition, Miss Gabriel and Miss Heard beat Miss Slee and Miss Nash, 4 and 3; Miss Hogg and Miss Allen beat Mrs. McNabb and Miss Brunton, 3 and 1; Miss McColl and Miss Black beat Miss Howe and Miss Dennehy, 4 and 3; Miss Batty and Mrs. Stanley, and Miss Munro and Miss Jenkins, all square.
