C.O.G. PREVAIL
After a hard and closely-contested game at Kilbirnie, C.O.G. defeated Hutt United by two goals. C.O.G. attacked continually in the first spell, and by half-time had scored two goals, the scorers being Misses N. Prestney and J. Yeatman. Hutt United played determinedly in the second spell and although they were unable to score, they were successful in preventing the C.O.G. forwards from increasing this total. Miss T. Monk was prominent for Hutt United, and Misses H. McLellan and Z. Morris were outstanding for C.O.G. The umpires were Miss M. Wilkins and Mr. H. Tahiwi.
