ROYAL MOTHERS
HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
Holiday problems are beginning to occupy Royal mothers, comments a writer in the "Daily Telegraph." All Royal movements must be carefully planned some time ahead, and it is usually found convenient to let the nurseries start their holidays early.
Princess Ingeborg, of Sweden, grandmother of Norway's anal Belgium's small Princes and Princesses, is again arranging to play hostess to a crowd of young relatives, and preparations at Fridhem, nearx Stockholm, are proceeding apace.
There is a good deal of excitement in the Crown Prince of Norway's home. The little Princesses Ragnild and Astrid have been getting their first taste of educational routine this year. Although enjoying their lessons, they are looking forward to the spell of freedom which a visit to their grandmother always means. This year they will have their baby brother with them for the first time.
They are eager to meet their cousins from Belgium again. The Fridhem holiday is always made the occasion for a family reunion.
Princess Martha, Crown Princess of Norway, is a great admirer of simple English washing frocks for her little girls' holiday wear. The Queen of Norway has spent many of her shopping mornings during her holiday in England in carrying out nursery commissions, including purchases for Princess Josephine of Belgium. At holiday times Princess Josephine wears English frocks, mostly shortsleeved cotton prints with flowery designs. .
The baby Prince Harald of Norway will also have a largely English holiday wardrobe, for which the Duchess of Kent has made helpful suggestions.
