COLT FOAL FROM TE UIRA

Te Uira was in foal to Tai-yang. not her full-siste* Nea Lap, as mentioned recently. It is now reported that on April 1 she foaled a bay colt to the SolariOjStallion. Pasca, dam of Pasch, and also owned .by Mr. H, E. Morriss, foaled a bay colt to Chateau Bonscant on the same day. Te Uira, who was foaled in 1932, was bred by Mr. F. Armstrong, who sold her for two thousand guineas as a two-year-old.

Sir Charles Clifford will have no horses at Trentham on the first day, but H. Cutts will leave tomorrow night with Paper Slipper, Great Bramble, and Every Port, who will race .on Thursday and Saturday. v
