Most popular among all the fixtures during the season at Trentham, the Wellington Racing Club's Winter Meeting will be opened tomorrow, when the Wellington Steeplechase will be the feature item. An excellent field of even quality has been secured lor this event, and the other races have also filled splendidly.' The first day's schedule is a comprehensive one, comprising two cross-county events, two hurdles, and four races on the flat, and it is undoubtedly the most entertaining card on any of the eleven days' racing held during the season at Trentham.
