When a motor-car driven by Edgar James Collett, 86 Ava Street, Petone, and a motor-cycle, ridden by Arthur Robert Piper, Park Road, Moera, collided in Cuba Street, Petone, near the intersection of Burnham Street, at 8 o'clock last evening, a pillion-rider on the motor-cycle, Miss Melva Kyle, Bolton Street, Petone, was thrown off and received a cut on the head which necessitated her removal to the hospital.
