AFFORESTATION
WORK IN BRITAIN

RUGBY, July 1
The House of Commons discussed the work of the Forestry Commission today.
Captain Euan Wallace, in moving the vote of £800,000, said that the commission had now 215 forest units containing over a million acres, of which 377,000 acres were under woods. The commission was building up ° national asset of immense value.
