NEWTOWN CLUB
(~,._Mr. G.. W.. Booth presided over the annual meeting of the Newtown Bowling Club.
Members stood in silence for a few moments in memory of the late Mr S Phillips, who at the time of his death Was the oldest member of the club, and of the late Mr. C. Rush.
# The chairman, in moving the adoption of the annual report and balancesheet, referred to the fact that the membership had been maintained at the same figure as last year.
