HAMILTON, This Day. In a fast and .exciting display of badminton Australia beat Waikato by 8 games to nil. Play was of a high standard and the Australians had the narrowest of margins. R. Lewis, Waikato and Auckland champion, was in fine form and demonstrated the best stroke production of all'. Harper's severe smashing was superb. Miss Edmondson played very well and Miss Robert was clearly better than Miss Hewett. Mrs. Fow made too many misResults are as follows: —R- J- Harper ,beat H. H. Fow, 1 5 -7 15- 9 ; B. J.
