The men's singles final in the Wimbledon lawn tennis tournament this year will be between Don Budge, of America, holder of the title, and H. W. Austin, Great Britain. In the semi-finals today Austin and Budge eliminated Henkel (Germany) and Puncec (Yugoslavia), respectively, in straight sets.

In the men's doubles, C. E. Malfroy (New Zealand) and M. Cejnar (Czechoslovakia) were beaten after a hard struggle by the British pair, G. P.

PARIS, June 29. Anxiety is felt over the condition of Miss Suzanne Lenglen, the famous tennis player, who is suffering from severe anaemia. A blood transfusion has been performed.
