BUDGE AND AUSTIN
TO MEET IN FINAL WIMBLEDON SINGLES TITLE PLAY IN DOUBLES United Press Association—By Electric Teleeraph—Copyright. (Received June 30, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 29. The men's singles final in the Wimbledon lawn tennis tournament this year will be between Don Budge, of America, holder of the title, and H. W. Austin, Great Britain. In the semi-finals today Austin and Budge eliminated Henkel (Germany) and Puncec (Yugoslavia), respectively, in straight sets.
In the men's doubles, C. E. Malfroy (New Zealand) and M. Cejnar (Czechoslovakia) were beaten after a hard struggle by the British pair, G. P.
Hughes and F. H. D. Wilde. Results are:— MEN'S SINGLES. (Holder, J. D. Budge, U.S.A.) Semi-finals. H. W. Austin (Great Britain) beat H. Henkel (Germany), 6-2, 6-4, 6-0. J. D. Budge (U.S.A.) beat F. Puncec (Yugoslavia), 0-2, 6-1, 6-4. MEN'S DOUBLES. (Holders: J. D. Budge and C. G. Mako, U.S.A.) Third Round. J. B. Sturgeon and Tuckett (Great Britain) beat L. Hecht and R. Menzel (Czechoslovakia), 8-6, 6-4, 6-4. Fourth Bound. G. P. Hughes and F. H. D. Wilde (Great Britain) beat C. E. Malfroy (New Zealand) and M, Cejnar (Czechoslovakia), 6-8, 6-2, 6-2, 7-5. (It was stated in the cables,received yesterday that Malfroy and Cejnar had

PARIS, June 29. Anxiety is felt over the condition of Miss Suzanne Lenglen, the famous tennis player, who is suffering from severe anaemia. A blood transfusion has been performed.
