MEETING IN LONDON

LONDON, June 29
The Australian Associated Press says that Sir Edward Beatty, chairman of Canadian Pacific Steamships, Ltd., is to arrive in London next week lor discussions with representatives of the British and Dominion Governments in connection with the building of transpacific liners. It is not true, however, as some papers state, that he will be placing orders immediately.
