LOPEZ BEATS EILOMFIELD

Vincent Lopez, the Mexican wrestler, won his first bout in the Dominion tonight when his opponent "Lofty Blomfield, was disqualified in the last round; The bout was one of the best seen in Christchurch. . * Before the disqualification of Blomfieldi honours in tails were even, Blomfldd taking One i in the sixth round with a flying toehold mid Lopez om with a body-press alter elbow jolts had floored Blomfleld in the seventh round. In the eighth round Blomfleld was disqualified amid uproar from a packed nouse when he hit Lopez after the referee had separated them when they -had tumbled outside the ropes. Blomfleld attacked Lopez again after the referee had ordered him to Ms corner and protested vociferously against .the decision. TThe tiout aroused great enthusiasm from'a crowded house.
