AUSTRALIANS WIN AGAIN
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 28. The North Island section of the Australian badminton team beat the Auckland representatives at the Town Hall tonight by 7 matches to 1. There was a record attendance for the game in Although the visitors showed allround superiority, there were some interesting contests. Results were:— Men's Singles.—Tonkin (Melbourne) beat Hull, 15-10, 15-8; Harper (Melbourne) beat Wilson, 15-2, 15-3. Women's Singles.—Mrs. Uren (Auckland) beat Miss Hewett (Melbourne), 11-6, 11-9; Miss Robert (Melbourne) beat Miss Ramsay, 11-1, 11-9. Women's Doubles.—Misses Robert and Hewett beat Mrs. Uren and Miss Ramsay, 18-14, 15-7. Men's Doubles.—Harper and Tonkin beat Wilson and Hull, 18-15, 15-9. Combined Doubles.—Harper and!

OTAGO TEAM BEATEN
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, June 28. The South Island section of the Australian badminton team played Otago at Oamaru tonight, winning all matches but one.
Results, Australian names first, were:—
Men's Singles.—Craske beat Abbott, 15-6, 15-0; Thompson beat Swan, 15-7, 15-7.
Women's Singles.—Miss Horsburgh lost to Miss Kerr, 15-11, 10-13. 3-11; Miss Cuthbertson beat Miss Buchler.
Women's Doubles.—Misses Cuthbertson and Horsburgh beat Misses Kerr and Buchler, 15-9, 9-15, 15-2. Men's Doubles.—Craske and Thompson beat Abbott and Swan, 15-6, 15-11.
