A message from the Prague correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that, following the discovery of a conspiracy against wellknown German Czech members of the Social Democratic Party living in Sudetenland, police arrested a number of Henlein supporters and raided the Henlein premises at Reichenberg, where they found a list of 1200 Democrats which had been compiled by the secret service of the Henlein Party. The list contained numerous details, also the names of three persons marked down for kidnapping and carrying off to Germany. The police have now given these persons special protection and warned the remainder who were, mentioned in the list. RACIAL SEPARATION STATEMENT BY GOEBBELS REFERENCE IN COMMONS (British Official Wireless.) (Received June 28, 11.15 a.m.) RUGBY, June 27. A statement alleged to have been made recently by Dr. Goebbels, German Minister of Propaganda, to the effect that it had been seen in Austria that one race could not be separated into two countries and that the same thing would soon be seen somewhere else, was the subject of a question addressed to the Prime Minister in the House of Commons. The Under-Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Mr. R, A. Butler, replying, said that while the British Government naturally deprecaTed any public statements likely to render more difficult the negotiations now in progress in Prague, he understood that the statement attributed to Dr. Goebbels did not appear in the official report of the speech. TRADE PACT MADE GERMANS AND CZECHS LONDON, June 27. The trade negotiations between Germany and Czechoslovakia which wera broken off owing to tension between the two countries were resumed on June 17 at Germany's wish, says the Berlin correspondent of "The Times." An agreement has now been reached.
