CONTROL OF EXPORTS

CANBERRA, June 24.
A conference of apple and. peat growers agreed to a proposal for a control board to take charge of exports, empowering the Federal Government to regulate the quantities of apples and pears for shipment overseas, as well ai increasing its powers to define standards of quality and otherwise assist itt orderly marketing abroad.
