STOLEN PAINTINGS
DEALER GAOLED FOR RECEIVING (Received June 25, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, June 24. George Owen, aged 38, a dealer, was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for receiving two Gainsborough paintings. A London message on April 29 stated that the police had recovered two Gainsborough paintings which had been stolen. They were found wrapped in newspaper in a London office, * A man was arrested, . \
