UNIVERSAL LABOUR SERVICE
WORK FOR THE STATE BERLIN, June 24. Marshal Goering has issued a decree providing for universal labour service, which is to begin on July 1. Under it every able-bodied man and woman will be obliged to work at a special post allotted for a limited period, or to prepare for a particular profession, the object being to provide j labour for tasks regarded as of urgent importance to the State.
