WRESTLER'S ORDER After having previously adjourned the hearing to allow both counsel to submit argument as to the Interpretation of the section of the Destitute Persons Act under which the application was brought, Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court at Gisborne on Wednesday, states a Gisborne correspondent, dealt with the application for a variation of a maintenance order filed by Meynell ("Lofty") Blomfield in respect of his first wife, Myra Blomfield. Plaintiff was represented by Mr. M. B. Maude, and Mrs. Blomfield by Mr. L. T. Burnard. In giving his judgment, Mr. Walton did not ask counsel to submit argument, and said that the statement of earnings put in by Blomfield showed that he was still in a position to pay' maintenance on the same scale as previously, namely, £4 10s per week. in dealing with arrears, Mr. Walton said that these had been practically all paid up, and the information regarding this would be dismissed. Costs of £2 2s were allowed defendant on the application for a variation of the order.
