E3RITAIN WOULD CO-OPERATE (British Official Wireless.) (Received June 23, 11.10 a.m.) RUGBY, June 22. In the House of Commons the Prime Minister* referred to Mr. Cordell Hull's recent statement that the United States is prepared to join other nations in moving resolutely towards bringing about effective agreement on limitation and progressive reduction in armaments. "As I have already stated," he added, "Britain is in full agreement with these sentiments and will neglect no suitable opportunity of co-operating with the United States and other Governments to attain these objects." In reply to a supplementary question, Mr. Chamberlain remarked: "If any invitation is addressed to us by the United States we shall certainly respond to it."
