MARINE CABLE FAULT
TASMANIA ISOLATED
HOBART, June 21.
The whole of Tasmania is at present" isolated from the rest of Australia because of a fault in the marine cable which developed at the weekend and cannot be rectified until the cable repair ship arrives.
! Meanwhile arrangements are being made for radio-telephone communication in addition to the use of the broadcasting stations.
