WHAKATANE, This Day,

A five-roomed house and all the contents at Edgecumbe, owned and occupied by Mr. H. Matchett, farmer, was totally destroyed by fire at 9 o'clock last night. The family were away at the time. . The building was insured for £200 and the furniture for £200.
