THE AUSTRIAN DEBT
RESUMPTION OF TALKS (British Official Wireless.) (Received June 21, 11.10 a.m.) RUGBY, June 20. A number of German financial experts will arrive in London tomorrow to resume negotiations on questions arising out of the Austrian debt, begun in Berlin in May. The negotiations were adjourr.ed at Vi hitsuntids, but since then there has been an exchange of Notes between the two Governments. A preliminary meeting between Sir Frederick Leith-Ross, Economic Adviser to the Government, and other Treasury officials and German experts will take place on Wednesday. It was announced in the House of Commons last week that, failing a settlement, the British Government is in a position to denounce the AngloGerman payments agreements without inotice at any time after June 30.
