WESLEY V. KARORI II
Wesley and ICarori II gave a fairly interesting display at Karori Park, the former team showing to advantage in short passing. After being penned in their own half for some time, the Karori forwards broke through. Adams took the ball and scored with a hard shot. A few minutes later Sowden put a good shot into the Karori goal and made the score 1 all. Wesley continued in control of the greater part of . the first half and Sowden scored two more goals for Wesley. Just before half-time the Karori forwards attacked strongly and Adams scored from a corner. Then Neate broke through the Wesley defence and scored an easy goal and made the score 3 all. „ . , Early in the second . spell Adams scored a fourth goal for Karori and a period of very .indifferent play followed. Several Wesley attacks were unsuccessful, but eventually Byers got a good shot in and made the score * iJlessrs. D. T. Woodfield and D. Hogan were the umpires.
