28 BODIES RECOVERED

TRAIN SMASH IN U.S.A* MANY PEOPLE MISSING (Received June 20, 2.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 19. Twenty-eight bodies have been recovered from Custer Creek, where the trans-continental express train crashed on a washed-out bridge. The engine, the baggage car, the mail car, and the four leading passenger cars fell off the wrecked bridge into the flooded waters of the creek. A relief train picked up 50 injured, and in addition 67 were treated for minor injuries. At least 46 person! are not accounted for.
