WOMEN'S TENNIS MATCH ONE GAME TO AUSTRALIA LONDON, June 4. In the tenn(» match against Australia on Wightman Cup lines, the English women's team beat Australia by seven matcher, to one. Results of today's play are:— Miss T. James (England) beat Mrs. H. Hopman (Australia), 8-3, 6-4. Mrs. Hopman and Miss T. Coyne (Australia) beat Misses E. M. Dearman and J. Ingram (England), 6-3, 5-7, 6-1. Miss K. Stammers (England) beat Miss Coyne (Australia), 6-2, 6-2. Miss N. Wynne (Australia) forfeited her match. In the Weybridge tennis tournament the women's singles final resulted:— Miss A. Marble (U.S.A.) beat Mrs. Heinemiller (South Africa), 6-3, 6-4.
