Mr. H. C. Lusty, Assistant Chief Engineer, New Zealand Railways, who haa been visiting Christchurch on departmental business, has returned to the North Island.
The Rev. T. E. Riddle, of Jagadhri, Punjub, India, moderator designate of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, and Mrs. Riddle will arrive in Auckland on long furlough on June 15.
Mr. W. M. Stuart, formerly of the Colonial Service in Africa, left Auckland by the Matua on Saturday for Tonga to take up his appointment as Chief Judge.
