A LUNCH "OUT OF THE CAN"
The following hot luncheon dish cai be made quickly, from ingredients 11 the larder. Throw some spaghetti int boiling salted water and leave it t cook. Melt two ounces of margarm in a saucepan, and add a finely gratei onion. Let it get soft without browr ing. Sprinkle in a dessertspoonful o flour. Dilute a small tin of unsweei ened tinned milk with enough wate and the liquid from a tin of salmo to make a breakfastcupful. Add slow ly, stirring well until thick. Remov skin and bone from the salmon, an Hake it. Add to the sauce and sti gently for five minutes. Season wel Pile in a hot dish. Drain the spaghett If there is some, tomato sauc available to mix with-it so much tn better. Arrange roun4 the salmor Serve very hot. Cream applied to a burn at once wi) relieve the pain and prevent it fror blistering. If sausages are dipped in boilin , water before frying, they will nc burst, and the flavour is improved.
