UNEXPECTED INCIDENT

; (By TeJegrapb—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. An unexpected incident caused some delay in the hearing in the Supreme Court today of a claim for £1000 damages arising out of an action for divorce. As counsel was about to outline the case to the jury, Mr. Justice Callan said he wished to confer with counsel in chambers. After the conference , his Honour said that as a result of information which the foreman had given the Court Registrar, the foreman would be excused from duty in the case and the case would go on I with eleven jurors, who would elect a new foreman.
