SPANISH NATIONALISTS
"DAY OF SOLIDARITY"

ROME, May 29.
A "Day of Solidarity with Nationalist Spain" was celebrated throughout Italy and speeches and ceremonies in praise of Italy and Spain were held. Signor Mussolini sent a message to General Franco emphasising the Italian affection for the Spanish Nationalists, who "are victoriously reaffirming our historic mission."
