TALISMAN DUBBO.

Operations at the new mill of the Talisman Dubbo Gold Mine, Karangahake, were commenced on Monday last. The mill will operate on lowgrade ore for a fgw weeks to "run in" the machinery and "cure" the plant. All the machinery is new and of the latest type. It has been designed for efficiency and low running costs. Electricity provides the motive power and the mil] can be operated with a shift of two men. It is designed to treat from 125 to 150 tons a week and a large tonnage of ore has been broken out ready for treatment.
