GERMAN PROPAGANDIST'S
SPEECH
'MEAN TO HAVE THEM'
(United Press Association—By Blectrla Telegraph—Copyright.)
BERLIN, May 18. Captain Wenig; propaganda leader of the German Colonial League, in'a speech at Munich, declared that the absorption of Austria made Germany's colonial claims more urgent than before.
He emphasised that Herr Hitler had recently warned the world that Germany's rightful demands could not be. ignored, and that it was not his way to keep on demanding a thing for long. '
"Unfortunately our colonies do not lie at our borders." he said, "otherwise foreign statesmen might wake up one fine morning to find that we had already marched into them.
"Germany wants and must have her place in the sun. We demand the return of our colonies—3lll of them. They are ours, and we mean to have them."
