When an express train from the South ran into Crewe Station, England, officials and passengers on the platform wefe astonished to see a bicycle on the footboard of the first coach. Later a railwayman at Basford rialßSjdings, a few miles south of Crewe, reported that his bicycle was missing. He hadleft it on the embankment, and it is thought that the wind blew it on the metals, from which it was "picked up"! by the express and carried to Crewe. |
