RIFLE SHOOTING
PETONE CLUB
The Petone Rifle Club fired the final shoot of the musketry series at Trentham on Saturday, the results counting for the Scott Memorial Cup. The competition was fired over the 300 t yards range, and open sights, as used in the Army, were used. . The competition comprised, A, 7 shots application, possible 35; B, 10 shots rapid in 45 seconds, possible 50; C, 10 shots at 22m circular disc with 12m inner circle, exposure 3 seconds each shot, possible 50, D 10 shots snap at the target, 2 shots in 6 seconds at each exposure of the target (bulls and inners only to count), possible 50.
