INTER-CLUB GAMES The indoor bowling green had its nine rinks fully occupied on Saturday afternoon, when friendly games were played. The following are the results: — Gosden, Haylock, Urwin. Thirty-seven entries have been received for the inter-club rink shield competition, thirteen of the clubs participating being represented by the following number of rinks:—Hataitai 7, Newtown 6, Island Bay 4, Wellington 3, Lyall Bay 3, Victoria 2, Lower Hutt 2, Petone 2, Thorndon 2, Woburn 2, Seatoun 2, Porirua 1, Petone Central 1. The draw will be made immediately and play will commence next week. INTER-CLUB GAMES. The first inter-club match of -the season fy'as played by Hataitai and Victoria, each being represented by eight rinks. Hataitai were successful; winning six and drawing two games. Tomorrow evening the Wellington and Lyall Bay Clubs will play a friend-' ly match of five rinks each, commencing at 7 o'clock. Twenty-six entries have been received for the Post and Telegraph tournament, and the first round will be played on Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock.
