WRESTLING
MEEHAN BEATS KENNEDY (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. May 15. Pat Meehan (16.3) and Jack Kennedy (16.4) entertained a large crowd at the Town Hall on Saturday night in a wrestling contest which went the full distance. Kgnnedy proved himself the better straight wrestler and once he had a hold applied he held it well, but some of his tactics did not find favour with the crowd. Meehan took the only fall of the contest with a body press in the sixth round.
