DIAMOND'S BIG SCORE AGAINST TECHNICAL

As on the two previous occasions this season, last Saturdays; First A Division Association games had interesting if not s « r P rlsl °B results. In the principal encounter at the Basin Resenre, Waterside took the major points from Marist by the odd goal in three ' . sides playing fast football, though Marist could have done better. On the other ground at the Basin Reserve, Diamond put up a great score against Technical Old Boys, beating them by S oa s 0 • Seatoun thrashed Hospital on the latter's ground, the final score being 4-1, and Scottish Wanderers did well to emerge from their - game with Petone losers by only 4-2. All the stronger teams won in the First B Division, the feature of the afternoon's play being the good performance of the lowly Onslow team, which was defeated by Nada by only 4 goals to 3. For the third week in succession ground and overhead conditions were excellent.
