LONDON COUNTY LOAN
INVESTORS HOLD BACK (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received May 14, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 13. The underwriters have been left 95| per cent, of the London County Council, loan of £ 10,000,000, issued at £ 101 10s, bearing interest at 3J per cent, per annum, the term of the loan being 1968-73. The object of the loan was for slum clearance arid rehousing, and for improvements of highways, hospitals, and other purposes. TREASURY BILLS RATE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received May 14, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, May 13. The total amount applied for in tenders for £30,000,000 of. Treasury bills was £73,280,000.- Average rate per cent. ■ for bills at three months was 10s 1.12 d against 10s 0.69 d a week ago. At the Corresponding date a year ago the amount applied for in tenders for £35,000,000 of Treasury bills was £72,425,000, and the average rate per cent, was 10s 2.24 d. j DOLLAR RATES. j The Banks (other than the.
