The American lighWieavyweight boxer Ray Actis (list 111b), when making his debut at the Sports Ground last night in a r twelve-round bout against the Australian champion, Ron Richbrds (12st), lasted barely one round. Richards sent in a left right followed by an uppercut, and the American went down for the full count in the first round. The contest was thus a complete fiasco.
