HUTT VALLEY CLUB

Prizes were presented to members of the Hutt Valley Life-saving and Swimming Club at a social and dance held last evening in the R.S.A. rooms, Lower Hutt. The presentations were made by Mr. Ashley T. Liver 2; breaststroke, N. Beasley 1, J. Beasley 2; backstroke, G Balfour 1, A. Somervell 2; Palmer Cup, N. Lines; Fraser Cup, G. Balfour and H. Wright, equal; Beasley Cup (ladies), A. Grieg;'Beasley Cup (men), P. Isherwood. . . The Fenwick Memorial Shield (for competition between Lower Hutt and Petone) was won by Lower Hutt. The school boys' trophies were won by P. Wood 1 and L. Piper 2. Relay buttons were presented to G. Balfour, H. Warburton, and A. Somervell. The 100 yds Wellington Centre inter-club girls' championship was won by Miss E.
