GENEVA, May 11,

Mr. W. J. Jordan (New Zealand) presented to the League Council a report of the Health Committee, drawing attention to the League's work'ln connection with the campaign against epidemic in China. He pointed out the importance for the Powers of having interests in the Far East, and announced that the Dutch and DUtfch East Indies Governments had opened credits. A Bill was before the French Chamber of Deputies to help the work, and it was hoped other Government would act similarly, as , the resources were limited.

Dr. Wellington Koo, in thanking the League, said that mobile units working against epidemic were carrying on their work under dangerous conditions owing to Japanese air raids.
