BEAU PERE COLT ARRIVES

During a visit to Australia, Mr. R. T. Reid, of Hamilton, purchased a colt by Beau Pere from Mbdiste 11, thus a half-brother to Royal Chief. The colt was originally knocked down to Mr. W. J. Smith, the owner of Beau Pere, for 950 guineas, and was subsequently acquired by Mr. Reid at a higher price. The colt has arrived in Hamilton and it is Mr. Reid's intention after his racing career is over to put him to the stud. Mr. Reid ha. 3 arranged for his brood mare, Comeaienne to visit Beau Pere.
