TWO INJURED
STATIONARY CAR STRUCK

CHRISTCHURCB, May 10/
An-unusual accident, in which two men, Laurie Pascoe, wood contractor, aged 31, and Alexander Qwen, aged 50, were injured, Pascoe seriously, occurred this evening on the Christchurch side of West Melton on the Main' West Road. '%
Mr. Pascoe was bending down in front Of his car cranking it when a car which Mr. Owen was driving struck the rear of Mr. Pascoe's car, Mr. Pascoe being knocked down and run over., by his own car. Mr. Pascoe received a fractured right leg and head and shoulder injuries. He is on the seriously ill list in the Christchurch Hospital. Mr. Owen received head and chest injuries. His condition is Satisfactory.
