The Tamahine's special excursion to Picton on Saturday will afford racegoers in the Wellington district an excellent opportunity of attending the Marlborough Racing Club's Meeting at Blenheim on that day. Leaving Wellington at 7 .a.m., the Tamahine will arrive at Picton about 10.15 a.m., a special train taking passengers on to Blenheim. The train will leave Blenheim at 5.45 p.m. and arrive back at Picton before the Tamahine leaves at 7 p.m. for Wellington, where she is due to arrive shortly after 10-pjn. For those who may not wish to attend the race at Blenheim a pleasant day can be spent in the Marlborough district.
