THIS MORNING'S RESULTS

The National Eisteddfod continued at the Town Hall this morning, when the high standard set on Saturday was maintained in the various events.

Following are this morning's results:—

Recitation (girls eight and under 10, twenty-six entries).—Fay Compton (Kilbirnie), 1; June Wharrie (Karori) and Joan Bradnock (Kilbirnie), equal, 2; Yvonne Brown (Lower Hutt), 3. V.h.c.: Suzanne Burns (Island Bay); h.c., Elaine Goodman (Berhampore). Pianoforte Solo (10 and under 12, eight entries).—Lorna Wilson (Island Bay), 1; Beryl Richardson (Johnsonville), 2; Maria Garland (Wellington), 3. V.h.c., Patricia Collins (Petone); Margaret Edwards (Porirua), In the National Dance (Jig, under 12, with thirty-three entries) there were three recalls: Freda Payne (Dannevirke), Jessie Brown (Dunedin), and Alistair McLeod (Wellington).
