However,there is: a large endugh display of chrysanthemums to satisfy,the lovers of these flowers, and there;-are also many really excellent dahlias. Late hydrangeas, of many colours, are being shown, and the other" autumn .blooms hava their place. •.■■'" ... j;
The front of the stage is filled by'a display of decorative work of ■ a high class, and to many this will be; the most attractive feature of the show. Considerable ingenuity ■■ and:.': artistic sense, are shown in the■■ arrangement The small decorative tables' are' pleasingly displayed. ".;: '":". ■'■',: ■-.'.- The garden-circle of the society has a large . stand in which the exhibits range from, displays: of'blooms: to; pots containing several varieties of-cacti of the type popular in overseas-shows. A stand for exhibition purposes only, has been. arranged by Mr. "Eric Riddiford's gardener,- and it indicates what is grown in. the1 beautiful. _■ gardenJ v -at Orongorongo."■'. "',■'■■■■'■' '■>."
