ECZEMA AMONG STOCK

(By Telegraph—Presa Association.)

AUCKLAND, April 19,

Farmers are at present confronted with the most serious epidemic of eczema among stock that has ever been experienced in the Auckland Province. The position becomes more serious daily, cases having been reported of individual farmers losing as many ?s 300 head of sheep, and cattle also are now being affected.

Unless cooler weather is soon experienced, causing a more natural growth of feed, authorities contend dire results may be expected. Some farmers may be faced with the prospect of replacing whole flocks and herds before next season.
