GLYCERINE FIRM'S AFFAIRS

RUGBY, April 7,

Asked in the House of Commons why an investigation had recently been made into the affairs of British Glycerine Manufacturers, Ltd., the Home Secretary (Sir Samuel Hoare) said it was made at the request of the Home Office in connection with the case of an alien concerned* in the company under consideration. A full investigation was being made into all circumstances, and he could add nothing more at the moment.
