V.M.C.A. LADIES' AUXILIARY
The members of the V.M.C.A. ladies' auxiliary met in the association rooms recently. Mrs. R. S. Maunder presided, and plans for the forthcoming months were discussed. XXXX.
. The. meeting took' the form of a "bring-and-buy" afternoon, which proved very successful. ..An interesting demonstration of pewter work was given by Mrs. Brooke-Tay-lor, who very kindly presented to the auxiliary some charming pieces of the work, the- sale of which considerably augmented the auxiliary funds.
Three new members, Mesdames Glovet, Ritchie, and Williams, were welcomed by the president.
Songs were rendered by Mesdames Ironside and Willis, the, accompaniste being Mrs. A. Shepherd. A dainty afternoon .tea was served.
